Welcome to Epsom and Leatherhead Multiples Club

About Us

We would love to welcome you at the Epsom and Leatherhead Multiples Club where children can play and parents can share experiences. ELMC was established in 2004 as a voluntary group for parents of twins and more. Our club is a not-for-profit organisation run by parents for parents offering a fun and friendly supportive environment for parents of twins and more aged 0-5. Siblings are very welcome to come along too!

When we meet

ELMC runs on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 10:00 - 11:30 at St. George's Christian Centre, Barnett Wood Lane, Ashtead, KT21 2DA

There is always at least one member of the committee around every session so just pop by any time in the session to say hi (we find it best to run fairly unstructured sessions, as getting out of the house with twins for a given time can be challenging!). There is a small car park at the church, but otherwise the surrounding streets have parking, and the pub next door has a big car park too.

We also welcome pregnant mums-to-be to pop along to club. It is definitely easier to get out and about when pregnant than with two newborns, and it is a great opportunity to meet twin mums, get advice on the early days, and maybe even have a look at some of our double (or triple) buggies!

What to expect on your first visit

Coming along for the first time can be a bit daunting, especially if your multiples are still dinky, as the hall can get noisy with toddlers zooming around! Don't worry though, we love to see new parents of multiples, and all the mums and dads (and nannas and grandpas and...!) are really friendly.

  • Don't worry about making it for the start at 10 - come along whenever suits you. As it's a relatively unstructured group people come and go through the session.
  • If your babies are pre-walkers, bring along a blanket/fleece for them to lie on. We do put out mats for the baby area, but its much nicer for the babies of they have something soft and familiar.
  • Feel free to bring along food/milk for you little ones, and you are very welcome to breast feed too. The older ones do get offered a snack, and there's always water available for little ones, and water/tea/coffee for the adults too.
  • The hall is big so do bring the buggy in, and park it up in a space by the wall (if only to keep it out of the way of the toddlers!).
  • Hopefully one of the committee will come over to meet you, but if not just come in and say hi. Everyone's very friendly!
